Reesie's potty chair

I got Reese a new potty chair. She has been telling me she wants to sit on the potty for awhile now. When I would take her in there she would be really scared to sit on the potty, like she thought she would fall in. And she would fall in if I wasnt' holding her up. So we went to the good ol' Walmart and I let her pick a potty chair. It was a close tie between Elmo and Dora. In the end she picked Dora. She loves it. She will sometimes take it in the toy room and put it on the floor and sit on it and read her books. LOL. She has gone poopoo a few times and she always says potty. I don't think she is anywhere near being potty trained, BUT at least she has an idea of what to do. My big REESIE girl. I love you.

What good kids I have

Last week I was REALLY sick. I didn't want to do anything but lie on the couch and watch movies. I felt awful, looked awful, it was just an awful week. On my second day of sickness I was at my worst. I told Riley when he got home from school that mommy didn't want to make dinner because I was too sick. He said he would do it. So nice of him. When dinner time came, he got ALL the ingredients out to make bean burritos. He did everything. He even got out the lettuce and tomatoes because he knows that is what mommy likes. He grated the cheese all by himself. The only thing I had to do was open the can of beans and put them into the pan. Raegan stirred them until they were warm. That was the sweetest thing my kids have done for me in a long time. ThAnK yOu RiLeY aNd RaEgAn what would I do without you???

Craft how to's

SO many of you have asked about the crafts I made. If you go to my blog list and click on Inspiration Nation. All the info on how I made them is there. The BofM's was done by someone else and she has a link on her details. It's a fun blog where I post all my crafts--and some other fun girlies too. Have fun.

Another craft

I saw these on a super cute blog and wanted to do my own. I made one for Riley and one for Raegan. I love them. I hope it will also help the kids to want to read their Book of Mormons more.

A few crafts I have been working on

Here are some fun crafts I have done in the last little while. The clock I made for my parents and the Family Sign I made for me.

This is how we ride the bike~~

I thought this was so cute. Raegan has this little tricycle that she loves to ride inside the house on cold days. Thank heavens we have hard wood floors that she is able to do this. So, when she brought the bike in of course Reese thought she was bringing it in for her to ride. After a few fights and some tears about having to share it they figured out (on their own) that they could both ride together. Reese was frustrated that she couldn't pedal--so Raegan put her on the front and she did the pedaling. It was lots of fun for hours and hours. They are so cute.
