I am not a good canner. My mom canned a lot when I was little and I always liked to help. I have not done much since I got married. While we were in Utah last week we picked up a box of peaches and I made Jam. My first time with NO supervision. I have to admit it is kindof amazing to think that I took one thing and turned it into something else that will last way longer. I'm not a pro but I wouldn't mind trying something else.

Good job on the canning! I made apricot and peach jam this year, also for the first time! Plus, grandma came over and helped me can peaches for the first time. It was all pretty easy, just time consuming. I haven't tried it yet so I hope it turned out.
Good Job. I didn't can a single thing this year. I have a good excuse but I don't know what I'm going to do when I run out of jam. The stuff from the store is just not the same. :(
